Today the job of a designer has a new meaning as we are trying to find a proper relation between pure art and applied art. We are looking for optimal design solutions and we try to reconcile trends In fashion and design individuality. In the field of designing leather goods an extremely important aspect is that relating to aesthetics of details which the accessories are made of. I am trying to create designs from the very beginning, starting from the spatial block which is leathercraft form and ending with tiny details showing the aesthetic and decorative qualities. In my project I am looking for the right proportion and ways of showing how the construction is conditioned by the block. I am doing it by manipulation of artistic effects in order to achieve a proper and original look. Experimenting with new solutions I discover new technologies and materials which let me build a whole range of artistic means.
It should be stressed that individual and innovatory solutions are very important. An example of this is a transpositional collection. This collection is an expression of my enormous appreciation and respect for the material which is genuine leather. It gives me the opportunity for translating my artistic ideas into the reality of functionality and fashion. This proves the fact that pure art can be fully transposed into design art. The degree in which both of them are present in the final artistic product depends on its creator and later on the user. Pursuing my creative activity is a process but I know it is the right way to master good designing methods and attain professional success. It all started with a collection of utility bags, where analysis and synthesis of artistic and professional experience built the image of the „Wróblewska” brand. It appeals to the needs of the final client as well as meets my own personal aesthetic needs.
